Professional Magic Painting
One of our best sellers! And, please note, this is NOT the familiar visible painter effect. Show a large (11 x 17 inch) black and white drawing, of a clown juggling balls which spell out "Happy Birthday." The drawing is enclosed in a clear plastic frame, resting on an easel. You remove the drawing from the clear frame, and offer to give it to the birthday child, but realize it doesn't look that great in black and white. The solution? Why, paint it by magic, of course! You replace the drawing in the clear frame, turn it around, and replace it on the easel. The kids assist you with magic painting (here you can have the kids toss invisible colors at the picture, etc.) and then everyone says the magic words. You slide the drawing out of the clear frame, turn it around, and it is colored, by magic! The clear frame is empty. For the finish, you sign the picture, and give it to the birthday child! Included with this model is a drawing of a young magician, and a drawing of Santa, so you can use it in every show, not just birthdays!

Here are some important differences from other painting effects:
    1. This is not a visible painter, which has been exposed to children as a small cereal box toy giveaway. The visible painter is a trick I owned, but never used. To me, It seemed more like a toy than magic.
    2. The colored picture can be given away! The pictures are printed on glossy, 100 pound stock--very high quality.
    3. This is professionally made, in a full 11 x 17 size, for big or small audiences.
    4. Not just a birthday trick, we include Santa pictures and young magician pictures, suitable for every show.

The Professional Magic Painting comes with everything you need: Easel, Frame, Gimmick, Vanishing Crayons, photo-illustrated instructions, 2 Black and white birthday drawings, 20 colored birthday drawings, 2 black and white Santa and 2 b/w young magician, and 2 full color Santa and 2 full color young magician. Refills are available.

Magic Painting Refills
Refill packs are available for the Professional Magic Painting. Refill packs include two black and white drawings, and 20 full color pictures. They are 11" x 17" and are printed on 100 pound gloss stock. Refills are priced at $20.
PLEASE NOTE: Because of the heavy paper used in these inserts, we must charge a flat rate of $8 dollars for priority mail shipping. However, you may order as many packs as you want for the same charge. The automated computer ordering system will show a shipping rate of $5 dollars, but the charge will be $8 dollars.

Magic Palette
Not a routine by itself, but a magical prop you can use with many other coloring effects to enhance the routine. Great in combination with our Professional Magic Painting. The apparatus comprises of what appears to be a regular wooden artist's Palette, with six blobs of paint in different colors. Just wave the Palette, and the colors vanish, leaving six white (blank) spots in their place, with the vanished colors appearing on say, a formerly black and white picture. You can also do this in reverse, having the colors reappear in place of the blank spots. $10.

Cascading Jewels
Long off the market, now made by us. A hit in my library show last summer. This is a 90 foot long string of beads that can be produced from any device— hat, dove pan, etc. When produced, you pull out about a foot of beads, and drop them onto a tray or the floor. The remaining 89 feet of beads will automatically shoot out in a noisy colorful riot of 7 different colors! Kids love it! Only $25.

Cascading Jewels--New Large Size
Our regular Cascading Jewels have been a big hit since they were introduced a few years ago. Now, we have a new larger size. The length is the same as the standard--90 feet--but the bead size is bigger. The original size uses 7 mm beads, but this new model features a 10 mm bead. Here's the effect: This is a 90 foot long string of beads that can be produced from any device— hat, dove pan, etc. When produced, you pull out about a foot of beads, and drop them onto a tray or the floor. The remaining 89 feet of beads will automatically shoot out in a noisy colorful riot of 7 different colors! If desired, you can then pick up the beads (if they're on a tray) and repeat it again! The Card-Rise Wizard's Hat
This great Elmo effect is available again—better than ever! Show a colorful wizard’s hat and place on your helper’s head. Tell your helper you’ll turn him into a magician. You vanish a silk, and it re-appears out of the top of the wizard’s hat! Then have the helper select a card. While he concentrates on the card, it rises up slowly from the top of the hat! It gets big laughs when the card rises up from the hat! Get in on the Harry Potter craze—the Wizard’s Hat will tie-in perfectly with a Harry Potter theme show. Card Rise Santa Hat
NEW Christmas version of our popular Wizard’s Hat. Place Santa hat on child. Silk vanishes, then re-appears in the hat. Next, have child select a card, and it rises out of the point of the hat, while child is still wearing it! Comes with 2 silks, PLUS a blank bicycle deck, so you can customize deck with easily available holiday stickers. ONLY $35.

Wacky Washer
One of my all-time favorite kid show tricks! You bring out a wooden box, with a removable lid. There is a red crank attached to the lid. Show a pair of socks...one sock is red, the other is white. (For birthday shows, I say these socks were given to me on my birthday, and they’re my favorites. For Christmas shows, the socks can be Christmas stockings.) Open the “washing machine” to show it empty. You place the socks inside to wash them, by turning the crank. Have your helper turn the crank, and there is a terrible grinding noise. You remove the socks, and they have been torn to shreds! The kids roar. Try again with the torn socks, and this time the holes have been repaired, but the socks have shrunk down to a tiny pair. You try one last time, and finally you end up with a pair of socks, striped red and white! A very funny routine, and it’s easy to do, which allows you to concentrate on your presentation. Personal note: I recently booked a kid party, and the mother asked me to be sure to do the “washing machine trick.” The mother had overheard her daughter talking to friends, and the little girl said, “I hope he brings that funny washing machine!” Wacky Washer $225

Scrub-A-Dub
I love the trick known as “Soft Soap,” but hate to tear up the soap box. Here’s a new way to do it. Hold up three stained handkerchiefs. You show an empty cloth bag, and place the three silks inside. Toss in 3 clothespins and a length of clothesline, and you’re all set for MAGIC! Rip open the bag, and the three handkerchiefs fly into the air, clean and hanging on the line! You can even use baby clothes on the line instead of handkerchiefs. The tear apart change bag can be used for other tricks as well! Only $35
